If requested by an employer to interpret at the employer’s premises in areas affected by COVID-19.

各语种同传箱之间应保持社交距离，包括手语译员团队。

Social distancing also applies to booths, including sign language teams.

尽可能减少同一时间身处同传间内的口译员人数。如果不在翻译，请离开同传间。

Reduce the number of interpreters in a given booth at any time as far as possible, for example by exiting the booth when not on mike if possible;

在移动同传间里工作时，应首选较大的工作间，拉开社交距离。（可使用可容纳3-4人的同传间，供2名译员坐在距离较远的两端。）

When working in mobile booths, larger booths should be preferred to allow for greater social distancing possibilities;

手语团队应将自己置于距离其他人至少2米的位置。

Sign language teams should position themselves at least 2 metres away from others;

口译工作前后，请使用合格的擦拭纸对接触表面（办公桌，控制台，键盘，计算机，鼠标等）进行消毒。

Disinfect contact surfaces (desk, console, keyboard, computer, mouse etc.) with manufacturer-approved wipes prior to and after usage;

如果可以，请使用一次性手套操作控制台，并在使用后妥善弃置。

Operate console with disposable gloves if available and ensure you dispose of them in appropriate fashion following usage;

带上您自己的耳机罩（酒精清洁剂可能会损坏耳机表面）。

Bring your own headset covers (alcohol-based cleaners may damage them);

最好使用自己的耳机。但是请注意，不同耳机的阻抗会有所不同，并且并非所有调音台都具有听力保护功能，这可能会造成声震(acoustic shock)的危险。

Although it is preferable to use your own headset, please note that the impedance of different headsets varies and not all consoles include hearing protection features (which may put you at risk of acoustic shocks);

请勿触摸麦克风海绵套，如条件允许，可更换海绵套。

Do not touch the microphone cover, replace it if possible;

如果您需要咳嗽或打喷嚏，请离开同传间，并确保与他人至少有1.8m的距离。

If you need to cough or sneeze, please exit the booth and ensure you are at least 1.8m away from other people;

坚持在同传间保持适当的通风，但避免通风过大。

Insist on always having proper ventilation in the booth but avoid draughts;

Tips for remote speakers using remote platforms

参加远程会议时，请关闭所有通知提示音（如微信、Skype、电邮等）。

Turn off all sound notifications (skype, whatsapp, emails, etc.) while attending virtual meetings;

确保在室内参会，关闭门窗，避免外界噪音干扰。

Eliminate background noise and interference (participate from indoors, in a room with closed door and windows to avoid extraneous noise);

注视摄像头，和听众保持眼神交流。

Replicate eye contact by looking into the camera;

使用定向麦克风，避免噪音干扰。

Use directional microphones to avoid extraneous noise;

最好使用带有高品质麦克风和消除声反馈功能的耳麦。

Preferably, use individual headsets with high quality microphones and echo cancelling;

选用可以再现自然语音中常见的高音和低音，并适合同声传译的麦克风，例如适用于语音识别的麦克风。

Use microphones that can reproduce both high and low tones typical of natural speech and suitable for simultaneous interpretation, e.g., those suitable for speech;

在视频会议进行期间，请勿移动麦克风。

Avoid moving the microphone during the videoconference;

发言时，请直接对着麦克风讲话，并与其保持30到50厘米的距离，请勿将头侧向—方。

When speaking, talk directly into the microphone from a distance of 30cm to 50cm, without turning your head away;

只在发言时打开麦克风，发言完毕时请将麦克风静音。

Mute the microphone when not speaking.
